The weight room facilities provide the first step towards starting a workout program, or just staying fit![Update: July 8 2008] Now in the detailed design phase is a combination BMX and Skate Park that will sit on the site of the old Austin Recreation Center (torn down in 2007), the existing tennis courts and the ad hoc Skate spot behind the courts. Design is supposed to be completed by December 2008, with bidding for construction to commence in 2009.
