Tools for Park Projects
Austin Parks Foundation has a trailer overflowing with hand tools that may be borrowed for park improvement projects. The It's My Park! Tool Trailer is available for use year-round by volunteer groups. Give us a call at 477-1566 to borrow our tools.
Tool Trailer Offerings
We have an expanding collection of tools, mainly long-handled. We don't loan out the trailer itself at this point, as it is too full to move.
- Gas powered Weed Whacker
- Loppers
- Curved saws
- Wheelbarrows
- Weed wrenches (medium and small) for removing invasive trees
- Bow Saws
- Metal rakes for mulching
- Pitch forks for mulching
- Flat shovels
- Sharpshooter Shovels (also called Drain spades)
- Rounded point shovels.
- Heavy duty rock bars
- Mattocks /pick axes
- Hoes
- Rock cradles
- Eight foot pieces of pipe
- 5-gallon buckets
