After a year and a half, Barton Creek is flowing again (actually its been flowing since Wed when my friend George left me a message that he was heading out with kayaks to run a portion – alas I could not join him.)

At Loop 360 access, I was working a great group of volunteers removing invasives (in this case, Ligustrum Trees) and building winrows out of them (stacks of branches and trunks running parallel to the trail and creek to slow any runoff) and we paused a few times to enjoy the flow.  I would say its a max depth of six to eight inches, but its a welcome sign.  We still need a lot more rain.
