In Austin's Parks
Individual Volunteer Opportunities
We're grounded in the generosity of the Austin community. From our city-wide volunteer days, It’s My Park Day, to individual work days held throughout the year, thousands of Austinites volunteer in the parks.
Volunteerism has been at the center of who we are as an organization since day one. We place tremendous value on the individuals, groups and companies that make up our dedicated volunteer corps. Ready to volunteer?
Ambassadors are trained volunteers who act as representatives for APF. Our Ambassador program provides a unique and meaningful volunteer experience, allowing residents to strengthen our city’s parks.

Benefits of Volunteering
The volunteer experience is full of comradery and fun! It’s even better when you bring a friend.
Austin’s parks need some love and care. Your volunteered labor hours help keep our parks in shape.
The City of Austin’s park budget has a shortfall to the tune of $100M a year, and labor is expensive.
