It's My Park Day

It’s My Park Day is Saturday, March 2nd!

Volunteer FAQ's Leader Portal

Spring It’s My Park Day project registration opens in January!

Our biggest city-wide volunteer event, It’s My Park Day, takes place the first Saturdays in March and November. Each year, thousands of volunteers work to improve parks and greenbelts throughout the city.

In Spring 2018, we had over 3,000 volunteers working on nearly 100 projects across town. And in Fall 2018 we had over 2,000 volunteers at nearly 85 projects. These park lovers have invested significant labor hours into our parks saving our under-funded Parks & Recreation Dept. time and money!

Project registration opens in January and volunteer registration opens in February on our Spring It's My Park Day GivePulse page. If you're a first-time leader, or have questions about your project, visit the NEW leader portal.

Get When You Give

In both the Spring & Fall we partnered with restaurants and businesses across the city so volunteers could get more when they gave. Volunteers wore IMPD tees to our partner locations and got great givebacks. See the Fall 2018 list below, and check back soon for NEW Spring partners!
