Volunteer FAQs Leader Portal

Fall It’s My Park Day project registration is open now!

Our biggest city-wide volunteer event, It’s My Park Day, takes place the first Saturdays in March and November. Each year, thousands of volunteers work to improve parks and greenbelts throughout the city.

In Spring 2018, we had over 3,000 volunteers working on nearly 100 projects across town. These park lovers put in the equivalent of 7 park maintenance employees working full-time for a whole year! Altogether, including labor, this one day represented an investment of over $250,000 for Austin’s parks.

Project registration is open now at the Fall It's My Park Day GivePulse page. If you're a first-time leader, or have questions before submitting your project, visit the NEW leader portal.

Get When You Give

This year, we’re partnering with restaurants and businesses across the city so you get more when you give. Wear your IMPD tee to any of our partner locations and get great givebacks. Check back soon to see a list of partnering businesses!
