Your Parks, Your Community!
The first Saturday of March and November, It’s My Park Day brings volunteers from across Austin together to improve their local parks and build community. All projects are led by community members to encourage neighbors to come out, lend a hand and connect with fellow park lovers from all walks of life. This is a day many look forward to all year as we celebrate the people and parks that make Austin special!
In Spring 2026, It's My Park Day volunteers made an impact:
4,522 volunteers

WANT TO ENGAGE YOUR PARK YEARROUND?
Some say Austin is a city inside a park, and we agree! Parks are essential to our way of life, and our park system needs support to continue providing all Austinites with the safe green spaces they deserve. Austin Parks Foundation offers plenty of ways to support and activate your favorite parks yearround.
