We are so excited for Amplify 2020 (check out our Amplify Austin page here)! Over the course of 2019, Austin Parks Foundation completed more park renovation projects than any other year in our organization’s history. What an end to the decade! Among the highlights are:

  • The brand new Hartford Park which went from being an unused traffic triangle to a beautiful pocket park, giving West Austin residents a park within a 10-minute walk from their homes.

  • St. John Park in Northeast Austin became a vibrant and usable recreational space for the community with a new playground, swings, entry plaza, information kiosk, water fountain, and pavilion.

  • ... and so much more!

We couldn’t have reached any of these goals or milestones without the tremendous support of our volunteers, park advocates and community of generous donors like you. Thank you!

Support the parks during Amplify Austin

As always, donating to Austin Parks Foundation helps us improve parks across our city. We help parks through volunteerism, innovative programming, advocacy and financial support.

In 2020, we're rolling up our sleeves and beginning the community engagement and design phase of three new park redevelopment project! These include Govalle Park, Little Walnut Creek and the new Eastlink Trail which will provide a bike and walking trail all the way from Bartholomew Park near the Mueller Development to Lady Bird Lake.

Our community partners for Amplify Austin

Austin Parks Foundation financially supports park projects large and small all across Austin with the help of generous gifts we receive from the local community. With the funds we receive, we are able to support our volunteer programs and offer a 1:1 match up to $25,000 for our Adopt-a-Park groups that fundraise during Amplify Austin!
