Three ways to give back to Austin’s Parks for Earth Day 2023

Susan SeleskyParks, Support Our Parks

Austin Parks Foundation is a non-profit organization on a mission to make parks healthier, safer and more accessible to every Austinite. Our work involves activating the community through our park programs, engaging with community leaders and investing in projects (small and large) to help develop over 300 parks, trails and green spaces throughout Austin.

And we couldn't do it without YOU! The generous donations of our Austin community help ensure that we can continue to act as stewards and advocates for our city's green spaces.

In celebration of Earth Day 2023, we're sharing three great ways that you can give back to APF (and our parks!) through the month of April!

Austin FC Merch Store Round-Ups

Austin FC has named APF as the financial beneficiary for their Earth Day 2023 T-Shirts AND their Verde Store round-up program for the month of April!

A portion of the proceeds for each Earth Day 2023 T-Shirt will be donated to APF. Fans also have the option to round up their merchandise purchases from the Verde Store or Verde Van as donations to APF.

A great way to show your love for Austin FC and our parks - VERDE LISTOS!

EarthShare Texas + H-E-B Tear Pad Donations

Support multiple environmental initiatives that benefit our entire state when you donate to the H-E-B tear pad campaign.  Through the month of April, all H-E-B and Central Market customers can help EarthShare Texas' 30+ environmental nonprofits...including APF!

The EarthShare Texas tear pad campaign with H-E-B has been continuously successful since 2007. Help us carry on the tradition of collective impact together! You can donate in-store–at the checkout kiosks–and online by searching “donate” on the H-E-B delivery website.

Since 2012, H-E-B  has contributed more than $20 million to over 500 environmental organizations in land and water conservation, habitat and coastal preservation, and community cleanups.

Direct Donations to APF

Our parks do more than provide beauty to our city - they support an important sense of balance for our rapidly-growing city. From college students using their local parks to escape the hustle of campus life to volunteers leading community-building volunteer efforts in our parks, your gift to APF helps us support balance in the lives of all Austinites.
