Community Volunteer Event: Gardening with Odom School Park
Join us to care for Odom School Park! We will be helping to weed and maintain the campus garden beds and build a garden footbridge!
What to Wear and Bring:
- Please wear closed-toed shoes, weather-appropriate gear for outdoor activities and uneven terrain.
- Please bring plenty of drinking water to stay hydrated throughout the day. Electrolyte beverages and snacks encouraged! Austin Parks Foundation will provide work gloves and other necessary tools.
- Recommendations: Wear long pants and clothing, and don’t forget bug spray and sun protection!
Where to Begin:Â Please meet by the school front parking lot by 9:00AM to get started!
Parking:Â There is parking available at the front of the school and in neighborhood streets.

Children under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or supervising guardian to volunteer.
