A Fresh Look for Old Bakery Park

Where do you get your Thai food fix in Austin? You could be enjoying fresh, homemade Thai cuisine in the heart of downtown at the My Thai Mom food trailer located at Old Bakery Park at 10th and Congress.
My Thai Mom opened in Old Bakery Park in June 2012 as part of our park vendor program. They’re open Monday-Friday from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and their menu changes daily. Everything is cooked fresh and served with a smile by Steven and his mom, and every time you eat at My Thai Mom, you’re giving back to the park! Each month, 10% of sales is put into an Old Bakery Park fund to help with the maintenance and upkeep of the park. And those funds can really make a difference.
In September, the park underwent a rapid renovation including a much improved seating area for patrons to not only order their lunch from My Thai Mom, but to stick around and enjoy their meals as well at the vibrant new bistro seating.
Today the APF staff ventured out in the chilly November cold to celebrate the improvements and enjoy some belly-warming lunch. Big thanks to everyone who helped make this happen including Downtown Austin Alliance, City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department, and dwg.
