April Open Volunteer Day: Davis/White Northeast District Park

Austin Parks Foundation invites you to join us on our April Open Volunteer Day at Davis White!

Join your friends and neighbors in supporting your neighborhood park. For this Open Volunteer Day, we will focus on providing mulch to the trees, and hosting a yoga activity! Volunteers should dress appropriately for the weather! APF will provide tools, gloves, snacks – please bring a reusable water bottle to reduce waste.

The yoga activity will be free!

In the event of dangerous inclement weather such as lightning, hail, or strong winds/ rain, APF staff will direct volunteers to vacate the site immediately.

Únase a sus amigos y vecinos para apoyar el parque de su vecindario. Para este “Día Abierto del Voluntariado”, ¡Nos concentraremos en proporcionar mantillo a los árboles y organizar una actividad de yoga! ¡Los voluntarios deben vestirse apropiadamente según el clima y tipo de trabajo voluntariado! APF (Austin Parks Foundation) proporcionará herramientas, guantes y bocadillos para merendar; por favor traiga una botella de agua reutilizable para reducir el desperdicio.

En el caso de clima severo, como relámpagos, granizo o fuertes vientos o lluvia, el personal de APF indicará a los voluntarios que abandonen el sitio de inmediato.
