February Park Day: Fun @ Sanchez School Park

We invite you to join us at Austin Parks Foundation to a fun day at Sanchez School Park! We will be supporting the event, Healthy School, Healthy Community which is collaboration between families, staff and community members to support Sánchez in Mental, Physical, and Emotional Health.  Our vision is for the event to be an opportunity for families to build community and learn about resources available to support all areas of health.

Expect a yoga class, kids participating in a fun walk/ run, families meeting each other and playing in the city park play areas as well as tables with resources for families.

We hope you join us!

What to bring: Please bring plenty of drinking water, wear close toed shoes and comfortable, preferably long, outdoor clothing for protection that you don’t mind working up a sweat in.

Where to meet: We’ll meet here to gather around to get started with introductions and review our task for the day at 9 AM! The link leads to the playground area in the back of the school.

In the event of dangerous inclement weather such as lightning, hail, or strong winds/ rain, APF staff will direct volunteers to vacate the site immediately.
