Volunteer: Cleanup at Colorado River Park Wildlife Sanctuary

Thank you for joining your community to give back to our parks and green spaces!

Project Goals: We will be focusing on cleaning up litter and debris throughout the preserve to promote healthy park usage! Every piece of litter diverted supports our waterways and natural spaces!

What to Bring:

• Please bring plenty of drinking water and fluids to stay hydrated throughout the day. Electrolyte beverages and snacks encouraged!
• Please wear closed-toed shoes, comfortable, weather-appropriate gear for outdoor activities and uneven terrain.
• Recommendations: Wear long pants and clothing, and don’t forget bug spray and sun protection!

Accessibility: Please note that our activity for the day will involve walking on uneven terrain, slopes and potentially wet/muddy surfaces.

Where to Begin: Please meet at 9:00 a.m. near the entrance of the Preserve to get started!

Parking: There is parking available at the Preserve.
