Volunteer: Walnut Creek Metro Park Restoration Skills Accelerator
Join Austin Parks Foundation and Siglo Group as we lead a 5 week education work session for neighbors and park lovers at Walnut Creek Metro Park! We will continue restoration efforts laid out in the Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park Unified Stewardship Plan, work to support native plants and wildlife, manage invasive species, and learn more about park’s ecosystem.
This is an opportunity to learn restoration skills while leaving a lasting impact on Walnut Creek! You’ll leave this five week course with the knowledge and ability to continue this work with APF. In order for this to be as impactful as possible we ask that you please commit to all five workdays.
