Support Zilker Median
The Zilker Gateway Medians provide a welcoming entrance into Zilker Park. These medians along Barton Springs Road have been designated as official park land. Neighbors and businesses are united with Austin Parks Foundation to maintain a beautiful boulevard of native plants and flowers, brick walkways and landscaping from South Lamar to the Barton Creek Bridge.
Your thoughtful donation will help enhance the beauty of our beloved neighborhood, allowing all residents and visitors to enjoy it for years to come. Thank you so much for your contribution!
About SFAs:
Austin Parks Foundation’s Sponsored Fund Accounts (SFA), allow Adopt-A-Park groups to fundraise for their park by joining into an agreement with APF. Funds raised can be designated for a particular park project.
- Funds are held by Austin Parks Foundation, removing the need for your group to register as a 501(c)3 non-profit, or set up a bank account
- Donors to your group or project may consider their gift a charitable donation for tax purposes
- Purchases made with the donated funds are exempt from sales tax
- Many grants require an organization to be a registered non-profit. APF can be the applicant on some grant applications, removing this barrier
We currently hold accounts for over 50 groups and you can click here for a full list of accounts.
