Over the past day or two, a Parks Department Forestry Crew has been pruning the Auction Oaks and chipping up the deadwood in preparation for the first phase of the Auction Oaks @ Republic Square restoration project. Today, Thu, 7/17, we got the chain link fence installed around the work area. The graphic here shows the fence location. You can come check it out and enjoy our first movie in the park on Saturday, July 19 – Clueless. Come early and try out the latest games on the Nintendo DS.
The work on the trees will begin in earnest on Monday, July 21. However, we should see this sign installed tomorrow.
