Save-the-Date! On February 28th from 6pm to 6pm on March 1st, APF is participating in Amplify Austin – our city’s 24-hour online giving campaign, which raises millions of dollars for hundreds of local nonprofits. This 24-hour period provides an easy and fun way for our entire community to come together and support our parks! Will you help us #AmplifyAPF, and make this our best year yet? Our goal is raise $30,000 for Austin’s beloved parks, trails and green spaces. Here’s how you can help:
1. Donate
You can schedule your donation here , or mark your calendar to give LIVE anytime from February 28th at 6pm to March 1st at 6pm! Either way, your gift will be recorded on the day of Amplify Austin and contribute to our overall goal of $30,000. Want to make your gift go further? Include a note with your donation and use #LoveTitos. Tito’s Handmade Vodka will generously match $5 of every gift with the hashtag, so be sure to leave a message, and help us give the gift of great parks to every Austinite.

2. Help Fundraise!
Individuals: Individual fundraisers are the backbone of this campaign. Last year, nearly 1/3 of all online donations came from our individual fundraiser’s efforts! Click here to create your personal fundraising profile (more info here) set your goal and help us spread the word!
Businesses: We know that Austin is FULL of passionate and generous businesses that use and love our parks – so get your employees or co-workers on board to #AmplifyAPF. A little competition between departments or with other businesses never hurts, either! Email us today to learn more about becoming a Business Fundraiser for APF.
3. Volunteer
Calling all social media gurus: we need YOU as an #AmplifyAPF Social Media Booster! You’ll help us spread the word within your networks, recruit new donors and give our campaign an extra boost. We’ll give you samples of what to post, plus sample e-mails to send to your friends and family, social media posts, graphics and more. If you love social media and are active on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Nextdoor, or LinkedIn we’d love to have you!
