Welcome Sara Hensley, New Director of Parks & Recreation!
Our new City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department Director, Sara Hensley, starts work in Austin today. Previously, Sara was the Director of the Parks and Recreation Department in Phoenix, Arizona, and was appointed by City Manager Marc Ott in September after a national search. We wish her well and look forward to working with her.

Eeyore Returns
After suddenly disappearing this week, Eeyore mysteriously returned to his home at Eastwoods Park on Wednesday night. Neighbors are deeply relieved. Eeyore pretends to be as mournful as ever, but we sense a slight air of satisfaction at being home again in his demeanor.
