Oyster Adventure Race Returns October 16

The Austin Oyster Adventure Race will return to Austin on October 16th and we’re already looking forward to it.  Teams of 3 compete in a series of passports – biking, running, paddling and performing all sorts of tasks.  Teams raise funds for the Austin Parks Foundation which helps us work with community groups to adopt, maintain and improve our amazing parks system.  In 2009, we had a rainy race day, so we’re hoping for a return to good weather in 2010.  We’ll also be looking for volunteers on Friday afternoon, October 15th and Saturday, October 16th (race day)
