Today, Pam LeBlanc wrote a follow-up piece on Pease Park, an area where the Austin Parks Foundation as well as our Adopt-a-park group, Trees for Pease, have put in a lot of work in the past few years and especially, the past few months.  Among the new improvements are irrigation, 100 new trees, we also spread dillo dirt and mulch on the hillsides, installed check logs to slow rain (hah!) and removed more invasive (non-native) trees and plants.  Neighbors, led by Richard Craig and Friends of the Forest have helped us tremendously.
