The 2009 edition of It’s My Park Day is over, but extending our thanks and our appreciation to all who participated is just beginning.
Most of all, we’d like to thank our partners at the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department, as well as our title sponsor, Wheatsville Food Co-op, who gave us all of those yummy snacks! Thanks to all of our sponsors for all of their support.
We know that over 2,000 people volunteered today and we’ll know more exact numbers when we start getting all of the sign-in sheets returned.
