Are there changes you’d like to see in your neighborhood park? If you have a bright idea, we’ll provide the funding.
Austin Parks Foundation offers grants of up to $50,000 to provide funding for tools, equipment rentals, materials, park furnishings, and professional services. Projects must be pre-approved by the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department and Austin Parks Foundation in order to qualify for grant funding, but don’t worry we are here to answer your questions and consult on project ideas. We want to help make your park improvement dreams come true!
Recent grants have funded:
- Playscape equipment
- ADA-compliant amenities
- Tennis court resurfacing and basketball court painting
- Shade structure installation
- Trail installation and repairs
- Gardens and habitat restoration
- Fencing, benches, and trash can installation
- …and so much more!
Annual grant application deadlines are April 30 and September 30.
