Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! There are so many reasons to be thankful today and every day, but today is a wonderful reminder to take a moment and reflect on all the things we’re thankful for. Here’s what the APF staff is thankful for:
Colin
I’m thankful for the diving board at Barton Springs, a true Austin gem!
Ladye Anne
I’m very thankful for our community leaders, especially our adopt-a-park groups because they take the resources we have and make real change happen in their neighborhood parks.
Alden
I am thankful for all of the different green spaces in Austin that allow us to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, especially the Town Lake Trail and Roy G. Guerrero Park.
Sue
I am thankful for the dedicated staff and volunteers of the Austin Parks Foundation for improving and maintaining Austin’s parks and green space.
Bill
I’m thankful for our dedicated super volunteers who are always ready to lend a hand. I’m also thankful for all our amazing Imagination Playground and project supervisors and the great people I work with every day.
Nadia
I’m thankful for the many parks across Austin and that wonderful feeling I have every time I see Austinites out enjoying all the beautiful spaces.
