AUSTIN, TX (June 25, 2018) – Austin Parks Foundation (APF) is thrilled to announce their 2018 spring grantees that will receive over $170,000 in collective funding to improve various Austin parks, trails, and green spaces. Projects include new playground equipment, improved community pools, school parks, sports fields and more. Project Playback: Plantings and Playscapes at Patterson Park
Since 2002, Friends of Patterson Park (FoPP) has worked closely with the community to improve their beloved green space. From planting trees to a new playscape, FoPP works hard to provide a park experience for varying hobbies and interestes. You’ll often see birthday parties, gardeners, pickup basketball games and much more making Patterson Park a great destination for an afternoon outdoors.
