North Oaks Park Playground Renovation

Austin Parks Foundation is leading the effort to renovate and enhance the park at North Oaks Neighborhood Park. Working closely with the City of Austin and the neighborhood, this project will include new play elements and equipment to enhance the play options at the park.

The playground renovation project is made possible with funding from St. David’s Foundation and Austin Parks Foundation.

Project Goals & Construction Timeline

Construction began in late September. The playground renovation was completed December 2019.

Playground & Equipment Planning

Based on the public input and budget allowances, the following equipment has been selected to be installed in the renovated playground.

Please Note: the 2-12 age play structure has been changed due to accessibility requirements. Replacement equipment was selected to include the same play features that were prioritized during community input.
