It was wonderful to see thousands of smiling faces helping their local parks, trails and green spaces on Saturday, November 6th! After an all-virtual event in Fall 2020 and a hybrid event in Spring 2021, over 2,230 volunteers participated at 75 in-person projects and virtually across Austin. From trash clean up events to building community gardens, volunteers provided our parks some much-needed love and care. We're so grateful to everyone that made It's My Park Day, presented by AMD, a huge success!

Austin's parks and outdoor spaces are a big reason why people call this city home. These public spaces are there for us when we need them most, especically after record numbers of usage during the COVID-19 pandemic. It means a lot to our organization to give back to them in such a big way! A huge THANK YOU to our It's My Park Day project leaders, sponsors, volunteers and giveback partners for making IMPD Fall 2021 a success.

Looking for more ways to help your local parks? We host monthly volunteer opportunities presented by Cap Metro! Volunteering with Austin Parks Foundation offers an opportunity to improve, maintain and beautify our city's outdoor spaces. Will you join us?

For those of you that volunteered virtually or donated, we will be mailing your shirt directly to your door using the address we have on file. If you need to update your contact information, or were unable to get a shirt at your in-person project on Saturday, please send us your name, shirt size and address to tshirts@austinparks.org by this Friday, November 12th.
