Thank you for helping make our 13th annual It’s My Park Day, presented by Manchester Texas Financial Group, a resounding success!
This year, 3,000 volunteers helped contribute nearly a quarter of a million dollars worth of labor back to our city parks and preserves. Nearly 100 parks participated in projects such as mulching, root collar clearing and tree care, painting, trail repair, and litter pickup.
We also had the pleasure of celebrating the grand opening of a brand new nature-themed playscape in Dove Springs District Park as well as the completion of Phases 1-3 of Ramsey Park’s master plan including a new surface on the tennis court, updated playscape, and so much more.
What’s next? Save the date for National Trails Day on Saturday, June 6! We’ll be looking for project leaders and volunteers to join us for another day of projects across Austin.
