It’s My Park Day Impact:
Your efforts on Saturday will go a long way in the maintenance, restoration and beauty of Austin’s parks. Let’s break it down:
On March 1, we hosted 89 park projects across the city with 3,336 volunteers pitching in to help. During these projects, 10,450 pounds of trash were removed and 995 cubic yards of mulch were spread!
All of this adds up to $319,656 of labor and materials contributed to our parks…on ONE Saturday morning
