For this week’s Park Preview, we’re talking all things splash pads! The best part about these parks is the wide variety of features they offer. Let’s jump in:

Bailey Neighborhood Park

This splash pad is located within Bailey Neighborhood Park. Enjoy sand volleyball, tennis or a picnic and cool off at the splash pad! This quaint park has a lot to offer.

Bartholomew District Park

Looking to get out of the house for a few hours? Bartholomew is your park! Offering a variety of sport facilities, a playground and picnic tables Bartholomew has it all. Not to mention, the splash pad is shaded and there’s a great pool just steps away!

Chestnut Pocket Park

Enjoy all this pocket park has to offer by cooling off at the splash pad, running around the playground or enjoying shade under the pavilion.

Lott Pocket Park

This pocket park packs a punch! Throw some burgers on the grill, cool off in the shaded pavilion after exploring the playground and splash around the splash pad!

Metz Neighborhood Park

Coming off the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail looking to cool down? Metz Neighborhood Park is the place to stop! With a playground, shaded basketball court, pool AND splash pad there’s something for everyone!

Splash pad hours:

Monday through Friday, 3-8 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.

*Liz Carpenter and Pease splash pads will operate on their regular schedule.*
