Eastwoods Park Trail taking shape

A new granite gravel and pervious concrete trail is taking shape at Eastwoods Park, just north of the UT campus.  Funded by funds through an agreement with the Concordia development, Weigelt Enterprises is constructing the trail, designed by the Parks Planning group, under contract with the Austin Parks Foundation and overseen by the neighborhood association.  Several sections, like this one …

50 Drummers at Wooldridge Kicks Off Fusebox

Graham Reynolds’ Golden Arm Trio kicked off the weeklong Fusebox Festival with a performance of 50 drummers (and a few other instruments) at Wooldridge Square on a beautiful Thursday night.  This is the first in a series of events celebrating the 100th anniversary of Wooldridge Square as a park.  Over 200 people enjoyed the 45 minute performance.
