Open Workday: Armadillo Park

Thank you for joining your friends and neighbors to give back to Armadillo Park! We will be supporting the health and beauty of Austin’s parkland by spreading mulch created from former invasive trees at the park and checking out the brand new Nature Play equipment in the park!

What to bring: Please bring plenty of drinking water and wear comfortable, preferably long outdoor clothing for protection you don’t mind working up a sweat in. Sunscreen and hat recommended! APF will bring all other supplies and materials such as tools and gloves.

Where to meet: We will gather at 9:00AM at the Park to get started. We will begin with introductions, learn about the tasks at hand, and understand our collective impact!

Parking information: You can find parking in the surrounding neighborhood of the park along the street.

In the event of dangerous inclement weather such as lightning, hail, or strong winds/ rain, APF staff will direct volunteers to vacate the site immediately.
