It's My Park Day

It’s My Park Day is Saturday, November 2nd!

Fall It’s My Park Day Volunteer Registration Will Be Open Soon!

Our biggest city-wide volunteer event, It’s My Park Day, takes place the first Saturdays in March and November. Each year, thousands of volunteers work to improve parks and greenbelts throughout the city.

In Spring 2018, we had over 3,000 volunteers working on nearly 100 projects across town. And in Fall 2018 we had over 2,000 volunteers at nearly 85 projects. These park lovers have invested significant labor hours into our parks saving our under-funded Parks & Recreation Dept. time and money!

If you have any questions about It's My Park Day, check out our Frequently Asked Questions pages for Volunteers and Project Leaders for helpful information.

Get When You Give

We are partnering with Austin's favorite restaurants and businesses across the city so volunteers can get more when they volunteer. Wear your IMPD tees to our partner locations for some great givebacks! See the full list below, and check back soon for NEW partners, as we are adding them all the time!

BYOT: Bring Your Own Tool!

As much as we'd love to, we can't supply tools for over 3,000 of our awesome volunteers on It's My Park Day. Please contact your project leader to see what tools would be helpful such as: shovels, rakes, pitch forks, wheel barrows, and more! Thank you for helping us provide a tool for everyone on It's My Park Day!
