It's My Park Day Spring 2020

Our biggest city-wide volunteer event, It’s My Park Day, takes place the first Saturdays in March and November. Each year, thousands of volunteers work to improve parks and greenbelts throughout the city.

In Spring 2020, we had the biggest It's My Park day yet. Over 4,000 volunteers working in 110 parks across Austin. These park lovers have invested significant labor hours into our parks saving our under-funded Parks & Recreation Dept. time and money! Austinites - we are so grateful for your continued support!

Get When You Give

We're partnering with restaurants and businesses across the city so volunteers get more when they give. Wear your IMPD tee to our partner locations on 3/7 for some great discounts and freebies!  Full list below. Check back soon for NEW partners - we are adding them all the time!

BYOT: Bring Your Own Tool!

As much as we'd love to, we can't supply tools for over 3,000 of our awesome volunteers on It's My Park Day. Please contact your project leader to see what tools would be helpful such as: shovels, rakes, pitch forks, wheel barrows, and more! Thank you for helping us provide a tool for everyone on It's My Park Day!
