Remembering Janet Long Fish
Janet Long Fish was one of pioneers of Austin parks, developing and nurturing the Shoal Creek Greenbelt Trail starting in the 1950s at her own expense. She is remembered in this Austin American Statesman article.Find the Perfect Park
Is there an off-leash park in my area? Which parks have swimming pools? We've added a new feature to our celebrated Find-A-Park website that lets you answer these questions and more. Now you can search for parks by amenity, as well as by zip code, area, or name. Of course, it's also fun just to browse the random selection of parks and pictures that show up in the sidebar. A big thanks to our volunteer programmer, Roger Meador, and to all those who have contributed text and photographs! Check it out.
