2020 is here. Austin Parks Foundation is gearing up and excited for a big year of connecting Austinites with high-quality parks, trails and green spaces. In 2019, we finished the decade with thousands of volunteers, increased park funding and more ribbon cuttings than ever before. Thank you, Austin, for helping us improve parks across our city.

Advocating for Austin's Parks

One of the most important things we can do as park lovers is advocate for Austin's underfunded parks system. Our team and park advocates are passionate about the importance of public green spaces. Here's what we advocated for in 2019:

2019 Community Grants

ACL Music Festival Community Grants are community-initiated park improvement projects funded by Austin Parks Foundation. In 2019, we funded nearly $500,000 through our grants program, including a $100,000 Impact Grantee soon to be announced! We're proud to support communities interested in helping their public parks and green spaces. Learn more about our Spring & Fall Community Grants below:

Thank You, Austin!

Austin Parks Foundation would like to take this opportunity to thank all our donors, volunteers, sponsors, partners and everyone who helps us make parks better, and more accessible. We couldn't do it without you.
