It's My Park! Day

On March 7th, Austinites woke up bright and early, headed to 110 different parks across our city and selflessly gave their time and labor. 4,000 volunteers showed our parks love by cleaning, planting, weeding, mulching, gardening, painting and so much more. All in one day!

This was by far the most It's My Park Day participants ever. We've come to expect around 3,000 volunteers, and y'all blew that out of the water. From the Austin Parks Foundation family, we are so grateful for your support. Thank you, Austin!

We're overwhelmed with all of the hard work and excitement y'all brought to the parks. Many of these projects helped parks in ways that otherwise wouldn't be possible without volunteered labor. Take a look at the amount of impact YOU made in Austin's parks, trails and green spaces in just a day:

Did You Miss It's My Park Day?

No need to fret! We have many volunteer opportunities including our First Saturday projects every month. If labor isn't your thing, you can always support Austin Parks Foundation's work by making a donation. Again, we are so grateful for your support of our city's parks. We can't wait to see y'all later this year for It's My Park Day Fall 2020!
